Mehmet Yılmaz Akdoğan (b.1991) ,
founder and designer of Stüdyo Akdoğan Furniture.

A graduate of Üsküdar American High School of Istanbul, Turkey,
the designer has completed his university studies in
Politecnico di Milano, Faculty of Architecture.

Having shortly worked in architecture offices in New York and Istanbul,
the designer has decided that
his desire to create form has outweighed his professional mission
to create functioning buildings.

By changing the scale of his design focus to furniture design,
the designer feels freer to express his deeply-rooted need to create form.

His furniture express the dark features of
avant-garde fashion - a design field he passionately observes,
and the mystic features of
Siberian shamanism - the Turko-Mongolian religion of his ancestors.
